An entertainment application involving imagination, challenge and excitement.

Pros: This entertaining game has been developed by Kraisoft. The deal is to break all the blocks with a bouncing ball, at the same time to gather points and power-ups so that you finally end up in the Worldwide Hall of Fame with good score. The game itself is not that simple as it sounds and is full of fun, imagination and keyboard skills. With this version of the application, the graphics, music and the themed levels have been improved to keep you engrossed all the way. The look and feel will easily make you slip out of the classis arcade-style genre. The bricks display is based on attractive wildlife themes. As you get into the game, it’s not all about breaking the bricks, you also have to collect power-ups, do the weapon upgrades from time to time to fight with the various enemies all with unique behavior. The controls have been smoothened a lot and you can use keyboard, mouse and joystick to control the paddle conveniently. The background tracks have been especially composed varying from classical arcade arrangements to modern wild life-styled compositions. As you proceed to the next levels the theme or the arrangement of the brick keeps fascinating you. It has got about 40 different weapons to use, 7 types of weapon upgrades, one special weapon, tens of enemies, all with unique behavior and the best part is the game keeps you involved every second with something new happening. You can also save and resume the game from where you left. The game comes with 3 difficulty levels, to entertain everyone starting from newbie to an arcade ace. The Worldwide Hall of Fame is a good and motivating way to let the world know of your achievements. It also keeps the thirst in you unquenched, to strive for a better score. A good way to refresh, after a tough day.

To play the game, system requirements are Win95/98/ME/2000/XP, Pentium 200 Mhz Processor, 16 MB of RAM, Video Card of 4 MB and a DirectX 8.1.

Overall: The application comes with user friendly interface and a gripping arrangement of colors, sequences and music. The excitement with 1st Go Warkanoid II never fades, gets a 5 star.
